I have forgotten my password for the website. What should I do?
Use the "Forgotten password" link to get a reminder and reset your password. If you are unable to access your emails contact the CASH Team who will be able to reset this for you.
Is there anyone involved in CASH who can advise me on copyright issues?
The NHS Copyright First Responders maintain a webpage of resources and can help with your copyright queries. Contact them at: nhscopyrightqueries@libraryservices.nhs.uk.
Should I link directly to the document or to the website on which it is hosted?
Enter a hyperlink to the introductory or summary page rather than the document itself. This should make it easier for the end-user to find the resource, especially if it has been updated or replaced since you last accessed it. It also avoids any question of infringing copyright or affecting the reputation of the publisher by deep linking directly to the document. Is there any limit to the number of journal articles I can add to the database?
The aim of CASH is to cover mainly grey literature and only practice changing or significant journal articles. It may be more efficient to set up a database search alert. Journal articles may be of particular importance if they cover a current ‘hot topic’ within the sector to which you are contributing and may be easily missed.
Ultimately you are free to decide what the needs of your end-users are. This may well involve focusing entirely on grey literature items or on published research findings.
Who do I contact in case of technical problems?
Please contact a member of the CASH team who are able to raise a support request on the EasySite portal if necessary. There is also useful information on the EasySite Knowledge Base.
What do I do if I need help entering items of information into the database?
Know How provides detailed guidance on how to select and enter items of information into the database. If you have any questions or feel that you need more help, please feel free to contact a member of the CASH team.
