Know How

The collaborative project to produce current awareness and alerting services started in 2001. It was first known as the Primary Care Current Awareness Service (PCCAS) and then changed it's name to CASH with the expansion of the service. Since the beginning CASH has had the principle that a good current awareness service is based on four main factors:

  • Knowing what topics to cover
  • Knowing who wants what
  • Knowing the sources for obtaining the latest information
  • Supplying the information in a timescale and format to suit customer requirements

We are firmly committed to sharing knowledge, information and good practice.
